This is a procedural guide for applicants interested in applying for any program available at the Hawaiian Islands School of Massage. Once the applicant provides all the following application requirements, HISM will review the application and provide a response within two weeks to the determination of acceptance into the desired program.
Once accepted, please send a $500 enrollment deposit to hold your place in class (deposit will be applied to your total tuition)
HISM is authorized under federal law to enroll non-immigrant alien students.
Upon receipt of the application fee of $50 & $150 International Visa
processing fee, international students will receive immigration forms from
HISM, which the student must then file with the United States Immigration
and Naturalization Service.
Requirements
1.
Application with $50 application fee (if applicable, additional $150 international visa processing fee)
2.
Copy of high school diploma or equivalent
3.
TB clearance test (within 2 years)
4.
Resume or Work Experience history
5.
One photograph of the student
6.
Physically able to perform massage therapy
7.
Personal interview (in-person or by phone)
