| Typically, we encourage students to begin their research and application process well in advance.
Because students have to make a move to Hawaii, there many details and logistics to consider when moving to the Big Island, whether it is temporary or permanent. So, beginning your application process at least three months prior to your expected start date is highly encouraged.
